Pestalotiopsis microspora is a fungus that is able to feed on polyurethane a key ingredient in many plastics. The Big Bend Fungi Co. is committed to continued research & development with P. microspora in regard to how it can be integrated into the Big Bend community in regards to recycling plastics & mycoremediation.
